No Parkin’ on the Dance Floor

This week has been hard as far as motivation goes. Every day I tell myself I am going to sew more than just the one owl prototype I made for my Fall collection. Just in time for, you guessed it, Fall. Yes, the Summer season ends on the 22nd. I think?!?! Anyways, the kids, the laundry, the plants, making the bed, grocery shopping, running errands,and of course camping. There was so much other exciting stuff going on, that I didn’t have time to give birth to any new creations. So I am reminded to either dance, or get off the dance floor. My fabrics and the ironing board have been out for 5 days now, I have nothing to show for it except for the old man shuffle and some sort of awkward attempt at moving my arms. Well, tomorrow I tell ya, I am going to bust out a “Roger Rabbit.” I hope to have at least three little creatures made before I pick the kids up from school at 3. And, hopefully, by the end of the week I will be able to report that the “Moonwalk” was at least attempted in the living room of my 1948 bungalow. Cheers y’all! And to all a goodnight.
